American Landmark Group’s Crosby, North Dakota project is an 8.5-acre fully approved and improved commercial project with full frontage on Highway 5. Crosby is the county seat for Divide County which is in the far northwestern corner of the state and borders the State of Montana to the west, and the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada, to the north. Crosby is located midway between Minot, North Dakota and the capitol of Saskatchewan — Regina. The area is served by three ports of entry into Canada, offering the opportunity to make a short drive in search of walleye, Canadian Football League action, semi-pro hockey games, or a water slide thrill.
As Crosby’s boundaries have expanded, new attractions like a $3 million community center with regulation-size hockey rink, curling ice, walking track and more, a new daycare center and splash pad were added to the area. The clinic and medical center are newly updated and expanded and the city and state are pouring millions more into upgraded municipal services and infrastructure to serve growth related to the long-term expansion of the Bakken oil industry. A major new subdivision, Southridge Acres, offers space for new commerce, new homes and other projects.
The continued growth of the Bakken oil and gas fields into northwest North Dakota brings unprecedented growth to Crosby and surrounding areas. ALG is expanding into Crosby due to the city’s proximity to US 85 and the northern expansion of the oil and gas activity. US 85, also known as the Can Am Highway, is the main road running through the epicenter counties of the oil boom.
Along with the opportunity to fill the needs for housing and basic services required in rapidly expanding areas.
